Give the relationship room to grow.

I started Side Quest because I care about what happens when people feel seen. A conversation gets more honest. Someone lets their guard down. You discover something about each other that changes the next conversation, and sometimes the relationship.

Leading social at Zappos gave me a place to practice that every day. Behind every account was a person, and every interaction was a chance to make a large company feel a little more human. The work was paying attention, finding a reason to connect, and making sure someone felt there was a person on the other end. Helping bring Life is Beautiful to life gave that belief a physical setting. Music, art, food, and a few downtown blocks became reasons for people to spend time together. I loved the possibility in that: you could create the conditions for connection without scripting what it became.

My later work in financial services and strategic communications added another responsibility. When people trust you with their clients, leaders, and reputation, a good idea needs disciplined execution behind it. Clear purpose, thoughtful programming, discretion, and careful coordination make it possible for a host to be fully present.

Side Quest brings those experiences together in the city I call home. Personal enough that people feel genuinely considered. Rigorous enough that you can trust us with the relationships that matter to your business. We take care with the structure so there’s room for something you couldn’t have planned.

There’s more to know about each other. Let’s make the time.
